A landmark trade agreement has been signed between the EU and Japan today.
The Economic Partnership Agreement will create the largest free trade zone in history, covering 600 million people and a third of global GDP. When implemented, 99 percent of the tariffs applied on EU exports to Japan, which currently amount to about € 1 billion, will be removed.
