New bye laws which would ban funerals taking place on a Sunday are being proposed by Wexford County Council.
The bye laws also include a limitation on the the number of burial plots a person can buy at any one time. At the recent meeting of Wexford County Council there were also calls for a county crematorium to be constructed. Copies of the new burial bye laws are available for inspection by the public from today running until March 24th. They can be accessed at Council offices in Wexford, New Ross, Enniscorthy and Gorey and also on the councils webpage.
