A Solidarity TD says the public sector pay proposal agreed this week is a 'rotten deal' that fails workers.
The deal - dubbed Lansdowne Road 2 - will be voted on in the coming weeks however its already facing strong criticism. The executive council of the Teachers' Union of Ireland overnight recommended rejecting the proposal, and the Garda Representative Association says it's disappointing. Deputy Mick Barry says it doesn't go far enough.
