A new initiative bringing together Wexford’s food, drinks and hospitality sectors is set to take place this week.
The “Business of Wexford Food” series is being co-hosted by the Wexford Food Producers Network and The Food Studio at GreentechHQ, in association with Wexford County Council and the Local Enterprise Office.
It aims to support both established and emerging food businesses as they deal with rising costs, regulatory changes, supply chain pressures and shifting consumer habits.
A number of industry speakers will take part in the launch event, including former Bord Bia interim CEO Michael Murphy, who will present a new strategy focused on scaling Wexford’s food and drink sector and strengthening its tourism and hospitality links.
The event will also feature contributions from finance and food industry experts, with a focus on sustainability, innovation and business development.
A new Diploma in Speciality and Artisan Food Enterprises from University College Cork will also be launched on the day.
The event takes place at GreentechHQ in Enniscorthy on Thursday, May 7th.
