A light aircraft has crashed in South Kilkenny. The incident happened in the Carigeen area earlier this afternoon, during a routine training flight towards Waterford. The pilot experienced a rough-running engine and carried out a landing in line with standard operating procedures. In a statement, the Atlantic Flight Training Academy says there are no injuries to either the pilot or the passenger.
