Car parts believed to have been stolen were recovered by Gardai in Wexford yesterday afternoon.
The items were discovered after Gardai intercepted a car on the N11 just outside Camolin. A man is his 50's was arrested. The search was part of operation Thor aimed at cracking down on organised crime in the east of the country. An on-going Garda investigation has been targeting a gang stealing cars from outside people's homes in Dublin. Other searches were carried out in Wicklow, Dublin and Meath yesterday all of which resulted in stolen goods being found. Among the haul was also €80,000 worth of cannabis.
