Christmas will kick off in a blaze of excitement when the spectacular Winterland Parade comes to town, accompanied by music, magic and lots of festive fun. On Saturday, 22nd of November, the Parade will start at 4.30pm, travelling from Selskar Square along the Main Street, past the Bullring and North Main Street. It will turn down Anne Street, cross over onto the Quay and finish at Wexford on Ice. Santa, his crew of elves and his North Pole friends will joyfully parade and dance their way through the streets of Wexford. With the help of Wexford Pantomime Society, Corish Wallace Performing Arts School and Olga Conway’s Discovering Drama, Santa will arrive on Wexford Quay at 5pm to switch on the Christmas lights of Wexford town. This year, however, The Evil Fairy Maleficent has an evil plan to ruin Christmas, a plan which she will not get away with if Sleeping Beauty has her way! With the help of all the boys and girls, Sleeping Beauty will make sure that Maleficent does not succeed and that Santa lights up Christmas. The Winterland Parade is free for all to attend and is brought to you by The Wexford Retail Group and supported by Wexford County Council. Wexford on Ice Wexford on Ice is also back for the Christmas 2025 season! Once again, you can get your skates on and pirouette away on one of Ireland’s biggest, real ice rinks. Wexford on Ice is open from the 28th of November 2025 to the 4th of January 2026.
