School improvement funding announced for 19 co. wexford schools
19 schools across County Wexford are to be given funding to carry out school improvements this summer. They include 16 primary and 3 post-primary schools. They are; Scoil Náisiúnta Baile Muirne, Convent of Mercy, Glanbrian National School, Ballaghkeene National School, Kilmyshall National School, Kiltealy National School, Scoil Náisiúnta An Ghlenna, St.Joseph's National School in Donard, Scoil Eoin Baiste in Ballyhogue, Davidstown Primary School, Scoil Náisiúnta Moin na gCaor, Boolavogue National School. The list also includes; Scoil Náisiúnta Bhaile Mhuirne, Castlebridge National School, St. Iberius National School, Scoil Náisiúnta Realta Na Mara, Christian Brothers Secondary School in Mountgarrett inNews Ross, Good Counsel College in New Ross and Ramsgrange Community School. In total 386 nationwide are to benefit from the first phase of the scheme worth 36 million euro. The funding will allow schools to carry out small and medium scale building works across three categories of projects - Gas, Electrical and Mechanical.
