Sunscreen tax needs to come down to stop people getting burnt

Cutting the tax on sunscreen could help save lives according to campaigners.

Health advocates want the typical 23% VAT slashed, because sun protection is a necessity - not a luxury. Fine Gale Senator Tim Lombard is trying to convince the Government to cut the cost. He says the damage caused by the sun can be deadly and it's important that the public are able to protect themselves.
