Taoiseach announces usc cut
Workers earning under 70,000 euro will have their Universal Social Charge cut in the next Budget. That's been guaranteed by the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, in the Dail today. The commitment came as the Dáil continues to debate yesterday's Spring Statement. The Taoiseach says the government is fully committed to abolishing USC over time with cuts that will continue this October.
