Team Ireland Celebrates European Vintage Ploughing Success

Three Irish competitors finished in the top five across their respective classes, bringing home two European medals.

Wexford's James Stafford claimed silver, finishing second in the Vintage Classic Class while Jim Cullen took bronze after finishing third in the Vintage Trailed Class.

And Ray Clancy secured fifth place in the Vintage Mounted Class.

The results mean Ireland recorded two European medals and three top-five finishes at the championships.

The achievement has been welcomed as a proud moment for Irish vintage ploughing, with praise for Stafford, Cullen and Clancy for representing Ireland on the European stage.

Congratulations have also been extended to their families, supporters and everyone involved in getting the Irish competitors to the championships.
