Almost 450 people are waiting on a bed at hospitals across the country this afternoon.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation claims 340 people are on trolley's while a further 108 are in overflow areas of wards. According to the latest trolley watch report - University Hospital Galway is the most overcrowded with 51 people in need of a bed. University Hospital Limerick is next with 47 people on trolleys and overflow areas of wards.
