Cardiologists from University Hospital Waterford will urge the Fianna Fáil leader to support a second cath lab at the hospital today.
The lab has been the centre of a dispute between Junior Minister John Halligan and the Government. Minister Halligan claims it was promised in the programme for government, but Fine Gael says a report shows it's not needed. Up to 2,000 people took part in a protest in Waterford last weekend calling for increased services at the hospital.
