A huge Christmas success story has emerged in Wexford as the local RNLI branch reached its fundraising goal for a new lifeboat just in time for the festive season. The RNLI had set a target of €117,000 to replace their aging boat and thanks to an outpouring of local support, they hit that target this week. This incredible achievement came from contributions large and small, including fundraising events and generous donations from local businesses. The new boat will be vital in ensuring that Wexford's lifeboat crews have the best possible equipment for rescue missions serving the community all year round.
