Motorists in Wexford are advised of temporary road closures and traffic diversions on Thursday, 5th February, to facilitate the Wexford Night Run, which will take place from 7:30pm onwards. Affected areas will include key streets and sections of the town, with closures implemented as the runners progress and lifted on a phased basis. The following roads will be impacted during the event:

Lidl Drinagh Access: The road to Lidl in Drinagh will remain open during the event. However, vehicles exiting Lidl will be required to turn right only while the run is taking place to ensure the safety of runners and pedestrians.

Traffic Management: Gardaí and event stewards will be on-site to manage traffic, with temporary diversions in place. Motorists are urged to follow all signage and instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.

Emergency and Local Access: Emergency vehicles will have access at all times, and local access will be provided where it is safe to do so. However, motorists should expect some delays, especially in the town center.
