Whites hotel to undergo refurbishment works following sale

Whites Hotel in Wexford is to spend up to 2 million euro on refurbishment works. The hotel has just been bought by the largest hotel group in the country, Delata, for just over 15 million euro in a deal which kicked in this week. Employing over 180 in staff, the hotel has attracted some top level conferences and business to Wexford since it was last extended and revamped in 2006. Manager Peter Wilson says this is an opportunity to look again at all aspects of the business. He says bedrooms need to be refurbished and some public areas will also be looked at.
