A woman has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital following a serious crash in County Wexford.
A truck and a small van collided on the R738 at Knockeen, between Larkin’s Cross and Furlongstown Cross, yesterday afternoon.
The woman, who was travelling in the van, was taken by air ambulance to Cork, while a man was brought to Wexford General Hospital.
Gardaí, fire crews and ambulance personnel attended the scene, with the road closed for a time following the collision.
