Workers at gorey day care centre being balloted for industrial action
Unions representing workers at Saint Aidans Day Care Centre in Gorey are balloting their workers for industrial action. The INMO, PNA, Siptu and IMPACT unions say they are taking the action in protest at the continued non payment of salary increments. Two years ago the Labour Court found that staff at Saint Aidans had an entitlement to pay increases. Saint Aidans provides services to children with special needs, people with disabilities and older people in the North Wexford area.
