BUS EIREANN UNIONS AND MANAGEMENT TO RESUME TALKS THIS MORNING

A fresh attempt to resolve the Bus Éireann dispute is getting underway this morning.

Major strike action that was due to hit public transport services today has been deferred to allow for the talks to take place.

Unions and management at the company are due to sit down at the Workplace Relations Commission.

Industry Correspondent with the Irish Times Martin Wall says details are emerging of new ways the company could be helped out of its money problems.
