Wexford Youths have had a miserable weekend, with two losses on the pitch and the loss of a manager as well.
On Friday night Youths suffered a 3-0 defeat at Drogheda united, meaning relegation from the Premier Division of the Airtricity League 3-2 on aggregate. Prior to the match manager Shane Keegan confirmed that he was leaving the club to take over at Galway united, and the club confirmed that on Sunday. On Sunday Wexford Youths Women were beaten 5-0 by Shelbourne Ladies in the Women's FAI Cup final at the Aviva Stadium.
