Funding announced for county wexford sports facility
59-thousand euro has been approved to develop a walking track in Gorey around the perimeter of the Town Park and the Showgrounds. Fine Gael Senator for Wexford, Michael D'Arcy says the funding - approved by Government bodies and Wexford County Council - is a significant investment in health and fitness facilities in the town. And he says it's just the first phase in funding for the Gorey development. The overall project is worth 126-thousand thousand euro. Work on the project is expected to start within the next few months.
