According to Munster the back row is having reconstructive shoulder surgery today. The province says the six nations winner went to Dublin late yesterday evening for a review with the specialist, and following the consultation it was confirmed that the Munster captain required surgery on his left shoulder. O'Mahony picked up the damage in Saturdays quarter final win against Toulouse.
