wexford hurlers fail to overcome cork
Cork had 4 points to spare on Wexford at the end of their Allianz national Hurling League quarter final in Paric Ui Rinn yesterday. The wind played havoc with the players with Wexford hitting 18 wides and Cork 15 while the Model County scored just 1 point in the 2nd half. It finished Cork 18 points Wexford 14. It follows the Model County's loss to Waterford the week before as they tried to gain promotion to division 1A. Cork will now face Dublin in the semi-finals in three weeks time.
