On Saturday, Dungarvan trainer Conor Houlihan celebrated his first win when Nan’s Choice triumphed in the mares’ bumper at Gowran, a comfortable five-length victory under Wexford’s Barry Stone.
At Punchestown on Sunday, Wexford jockey Sean Flanagan helped trainer Barry Connell to a double, guiding Ksar Fatal to victory in a stewards' inquiry-affected race. Meanwhile, Tiernan Power Roche delivered a 33-1 shock win aboard Chase The Moon, also at Punchestown, securing his second victory of the season.
