Wexford Youths went down 2-1 at home to UCC last night in the first round of the EA Sports Cup. The college side scored two first half goals before Peter Higgins responded with a goal in the second half. However the Wexford side were unable to equalise. Next up for the Airtricity League Division One side is a South East derby against Waterford in Ferrycarrig Park on Friday night.
