Over one thousand properties in County Wexford have benefited from the Home Renovation Incentive.
The scheme was introduced by the government in Budget 2014 and enables homeowners to claim tax relief by way of a VAT refund on upgrading works done. To date 16.42 million has been spent on renovations under the scheme in County Wexford benefiting one thousand and forty two households. The average spend of work done in the county is fifteen thousand 758 euro. The scheme is set to run until December 2018.
