A three year old girl has died in hospital after an alleged assault in Dublin at the weekend.
It's believed to have happened at her home in Shankill on Saturday. Gardai have confirmed that her life support machine was switched off yesterday morning and she was pronounced dead. Conor Feehan from Independent News and Media says the girl's mother has been charged with assault causing harm.
