40 percent more women than men dying in co. wexford after a stroke

40 percent more women than men are dying after a stroke in County Wexford. The figures cover the past three years and are compiled by the Central Statistics Office. During the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 an average of 40 women died in County Wexford from a stroke compared to 24 men. The figures also show that strokes are now killing twice as many women as breast cancer.
