Hundreds of homes in parts of Enniscorthy were left without water for most of the day yesterday.
Irish Water says it was due to a major leak in the area. Demand for water across Co. Wexford increased over the Bank Holiday weekend as temperatures soared. Irish Water is considering a hosepipe ban, and is urging people to conserve water for essential use.
