Comments made by the Archbishop Eamon Martin around the issue of fatal foetal abnormalities have been criticised by a group who are campaigning for Irish law to allow terminations for medical reasons.
TFMR Ireland says the Archbishop is unqualified to make a statements in which he likened cases of fatal foetal abnormalities to adults who are living with life-limiting conditions. TFMR Ireland is campaigning for women to be given a choice to have an abortion for medical reasons, in cases where a baby will either die during a pregnancy or shortly after birth.
