The dispute between secondary school teachers and the Government looks set to continue - for now.
The ASTI's Central Executive Council has recommended that members reject the latest pay deal put forward by the Education Department. The union's members will be balloted in January on the proposal - which includes gradual pay increases for new teachers and an opt-out clause for supervision and substitution duties.
