After years of serving the local community ,the doors have closed for the final time at Blackwater Post Office.
After reaching retirement age and with no one coming forward to take over the business, postmistress Ann Sutton was forced to make the difficult decision to close the rural post office.
The closure comes as more rural post offices continue to shut their doors across County Wexford, raising concerns about the future of vital local services in smaller communities.
Speaking on Morning Mix, Ann said she was heartbroken to be bringing an end to the service
