Body of wexford man recovered from river suir
The body of a County Wexford man has been recovered from the river Suir in Waterford. Father of three John Mythen was from Oulart and his body was found yesterday afternoon. The body of the 54 year-old was taken from the river close to the tower Hotel in Waterford. A river search for the missing man had been underway since last Wednesday after a woman witnessed a man entering the river near Rice bridge in the city. John Mythen was a native of Oulart where he was heavily involved in the local community particulary the GAA. He was a well known postman in the Enniscorthy area having worked in Bree for a number of years before his transfer to Blackwater seven years ago. John Mythen is survived by his wife and two daughters.
