The Government is being urged to establish an Oireachtas Committee on Mental Health.
Fianna Fáil has written to the Taoiseach Enda Kenny to request a new joint committee to facilitate discussions on the issue. Enniscorthy Fianna Fail TD James Brown says the committee would help put mental health at the heart of the debate at the Oireachtas and help to provide meaningful debate on the subject.
