Calls for more local authority housing in county wexford as 2014 allocation announced
Just twenty local authority houses will be built in County Wexford this year. That's according to Fianna Fail TD John Browne who says up to two thousand face the prospect of being on the local authority housing list for two years. Under the 2014 House Building programme just ten new starts were announced for Gorey and Wexford with no housing allocation for Enniscorthy or New Ross. Deputy Browne said it was a whooly unacceptable situation and was leading to despair amoung young married couples.
