Wexford County Council are urging people to still take care on the counties roads.
It comes as the yellow cold weather ice warning has expired. The daytime and nighttime temperature from now into next week will be rising above freezing, which will see the end of the extremely low temperatures. However, gritters are still out and the council are urging caution until the current thaw clears all the roads of the icy surfaces.
