Thousands of citizens in Aleppo are understood to be awaiting evacuation from the Syrian city.
It's after an operation to take anti-government supporters out of the area was suspended yesterday amid renewed fighting. It'd been hoped that would resume today - however Bashar al Asad's forces have not yet allowed that to take place. Over 310,000 people have died in the almost six year long civil war. Charities are calling for a negotiated ceasefire and the establishment of safe evacuation corridors for citizens and humanitarian aid.
