Community Invited to Have Their Say on the Future of Castlebridge House

Local residents are being encouraged to have their say on the future of Castlebridge House at a community consultation taking place this evening.

The public meeting will be held at Castlebridge Community Hall, where members of the community will have the opportunity to view the proposed plans for the historic building, ask questions and share their views.

Councillor Robbie Staples says those attending will get their first detailed look at the vision for the redevelopment of Castlebridge House.

He says the proposals include an exhibition space celebrating the discovery of the Guinness World Records book in Castlebridge, along with a café, public toilets and a refurbished open courtyard that would provide a welcoming community space.

Plans for the stable block also include the creation of a boutique events venue, which could be used for weddings, corporate functions and other small-scale events.

Councillor Staples says the consultation is an important opportunity for local people to see the plans, offer feedback and help shape the future of one of the village's most significant historic buildings.

Residents, community groups and anyone with an interest in Castlebridge House are invited to attend the consultation, which gets underway this evening at 7:30pm in Castlebridge Community Hall.
