Concerns over hospital patient care

The Irish Hospital Consultants Association says patient care's being damaged due to Government policy.

It says the standard of care in public hospitals has dropped sharply, according to its new survey. It's found nearly 90% of those surveyed believe the lack of suitably qualified consultants is leading to the decline in standards.
