Donald trump to announce plans for the paris agreement later

There's just hours to go until Donald Trump reveals his plans for the Paris Climate Change Agreement.

It's feared the US president will pull America out of the deal, aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The European Council president Donald Tusk has tweeted, urging him not to change the 'climate for the worse'. Climatologist with NUI Maynooth John Sweeney says it came into effect in 2016.
