Election Candidate Calls For VAT Free Zones

Independent Councillor and candidate in the general election Michael Sheehan is calling for an introduction of VAT-free zones in towns across the county

The idea is to revitalise restaurants and nightlife by encouraging people from outside to come live nearby. New Ross based Councillor Sheehan  says the zones would increase population numbers and footfall on town centre streets.
