The M11 Gorey-Enniscorthy bypass will be officially opened in just over two weeks time.
It was confirmed yesterday that the the project will be unveiled by the Taoiseach on Thursday July 18 with people able to drive on the new bypass from that day on. The €400 million project has been in the works for some time and Director of Services at Wexford County Council Eamon Hore says things are progressing well. He says that the New Ross by-pass does not have an opening date yet however he expects it will be some time towards the end of this year.
