Euromillions ticket worth 66 million bought in carlow not wexford
After speculation a winning EuroMillions jackpot ticket was sold in Wexford it turns out it was Carlow all along. The National Lottery has revealed the winning purchase was made at Easons in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, in Carlow and not in Wexford as had previously been reported. Yesterday a group of friends collected their 66 million euro winnings. The jackpot is the third biggest EuroMillions win for Ireland, and is the country's eighth since the European wide lottery was first launched in 2004.
