Wexford's Talbot Hotel Group has announced it's to expand its business. In a deal completed yesterday afternoon the Wexford owned group has aquired the Midleton Park Hotel in County Cork. It's a seventy eight bedroom hotel which had been in recievership with a staff of eighty. All employees are being retained under the new Talbot ownership. The Talbot Group is owned by the Pettitt family in Co. Wexford who also own the Pettit's supermarket chain. The purchasing figure for the Midleton Park Hotel has not been disclosed.
