Fatal crashes in wexford and kilkenny leave two dead
A man and a woman have been killed in separate road crashes in counties Wexford and Kilkenny overnight. The woman was struck by a car at Drinagh at around half past one. And the man died when his car crashed into a ditch at Glenmore. The woman, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene after she was hit by a car on the Wexford to Rosslare Road at Drinagh at about half past one this morning. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was uninjured. Meanwhile, in a separate collision on the same route, a 22 year old man was killed when his car crashed into a ditch on the N25 at Gaulstown, Glenmore in Kilkenny just outside Waterford city at around 3 o'clock this morning. He was rushed to Waterford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
