Fianna fail calls for action on waiting lists

Fianna Fail says it's essential the government properly uses the National Treatment Purchase Fund to clear hospital waiting lists.

The party's pre-Dail meeting in Longford has heard the health service is facing unprecedented pressure this winter. Figures released last month showed 687,000 people are waiting on procedures.
