There have been two further cases in the past week of patients needing urgent heart treatment and presenting out of hours at Waterford University Hospital.

Bath patients are from South Kilkenny and are reported to have responded well to treatment. A statement from Health Equality for the South East reiterated its call for full 24/7 cathlab services in Waterford as a matter of urgency.
