Garda search underway in wexford town
A garda search is ongoing in the Drinagh area, south of Wexford town since early morning. A number of specialist units of the force are at the scene. Reporter Jimmy Gahan says the search involves personnel from the regional crime squad, members of the armed response unit and locally based officers. Though not confirmed, it's believed to be centred around drug related activity. Gardai moved in on the scene shortly after 7am this morning, with one house believed to be at the centre of the investigation. There are also searches being carried out on lands in the vicinity.
