Gardaí are investigating two separate burglaries in County Wexford and are appealing to the public for information.
The first incident occurred at a house in Balliastraw, between 2pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday, July 21st. During the burglary, an amount of cash was stolen.
In a separate incident, a house in Johnstown, Clonegal, was broken into at around 4.30pm on Thursday, July 24th. A large quantity of jewellery was taken from the property.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was in either area at the relevant times and noticed any suspicious activity to come forward.
They are also appealing to anyone who may be offered jewellery for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact Gardaí immediately.
Anyone with information on either burglary is asked to contact Enniscorthy Garda Station.
