Gardaí in Wexford are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving two males on South Main Street in Wexford Town today, Monday August 17th.
An examination of CCTV footage led to the identification and arrest of a man in connection with the incident.
He was arrested by Gardaí on patrol in Wexford Town and has since been charged.He is due to appear before Wexford District Court at a later date.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to come forward.
They are also asking anyone with mobile phone footage or other recordings of the incident to make the material available to investigating Gardaí.
